QR Codes as a Strategy to Leverage Smart Phone Adoption

With U.S. smart phone adoption at 35% and rising, Nonprofits are looking for ways to leverage this communication channel. Whether used for marketing/fundraising, news/updates or just pure entertainment, these devices are playing an important role in attracting new donors, spurring emotional giving and communicating important updates to a nonprofit’s donor base.
In this new era, QR (Quick Response) Codes have emerged as a unique way for nonprofits to use smart phones to interact with their constituents - And they are finally beginning to see critical adoption by nonprofits.
